About Me

Hi y'all! I'm Gwen Udy.

I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2021 with my Bachelor of Science and Arts degree in Mathematics. I also completed the UTeach Natural Science program and am certified to teach Math 4-8. During my time in UTeach, I spent four semesters interning in the Ann Richards Makerspace. I also completed my student teaching at Ann Richards, teaching 7th-9th grade Algebra 1.

Since graduating, I am now a full-time 7th and 8th grade math teacher at Ann Richards. I also coach cross-country, basketball, track, and help lead yoga and mindfulness for our school. In my free time, I enjoy training for my next half-marathon, traveling, reading historical fiction, and playing with my labrador mix Josie.
